State Bar of Georgia Pro Bono Resource Center

Co-sponsored by the Georgia Legal Services Program and the State Bar of Georgia, the Pro Bono Resource Center is headquartered at the Bar and involves private attorneys in representation of the poor in civil matters. The Project also provides information to lawyers on what programs are available when they want to volunteer. The Project gives technical assistance to local bar associations when they want to develop or revise a pro bono program.

The Pro Bono Resource Center provides technology support to legal aid, pro bono programs and local bar association pro bono projects, and also sponsors the Georgia statewide volunteer lawyer support website, www.GeorgiaAdvocates.org/GOJC.

The State Bar Pro Bono Resource Center also coordinates and sponsors volunteer lawyer training programs, community legal education programs, disaster legal services programs and veterans and servicemembers referral services
