Original creditors and debt buyers regularly file motions for summary judgment against unrepresented defendants in consumer credit actions.  This training will provide an overview of the procedural and substantive issues that frequently arise in such motions and guide CLARO and other volunteers in reviewing and analyzing motion papers.  In addition, the training will include a demonstration of the interactive forms available on Pro Bono Net for helping to prepare opposition papers.
