Can a website redesign improve access to justice?

"An Illinois nonprofit that connects the public with accurate legal information has revamped its decade-old website to make it easier for people who can't afford lawyers to answer questions about divorce, housing and other legal problems.

Illinois Legal Aid Online launched the redesigned site on Monday after almost a two-year process to streamline users' experience and upgrade the underlying architecture. The redesign replaced 25 separate legal categories with eight, plain-language groupings and made the site mobile-responsive, reflecting the uptick in consumers accessing the site through smartphones.."
