As part of our year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Washington Lawyers Committee we are having a Reunion Celebration on June 5th. The evening will begin with a panel discussion with six individuals who were leaders in the Committees work at different points throughout its history. The goal is to look back at the Committees extraordinary achievements and discuss the unfinished business facing the Committee in the future.

We will follow the panel conversation with a festive cocktail reception that will allow everyone to reconnect, reminisce and re-energize! The Committee has been a critical voice for justice and equity throughout its history. The Reunion is more than a celebration of the past (which is warranted), but a renewal of commitment. Injustice surrounds us despite enormous progress.
