Racial Justice Series: Fighting Voter Suppression

Washington Council of Lawyers and the Womens Bar Association of DC are pleased to present a Racial Justice Series program on Fighting Voter Suppression.

Our panel of experts will discuss the history of the Voting Rights Act, recent changes to the Act, and how these changes will affect the 2016 elections. Well also identify volunteer opportunities where you can take action to prevent voter suppression in the upcoming elections.

Jon M. Greenbaum (Chief Counsel and Senior Deputy Director, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights under Law).

The event will be moderated by Jonathan Smith, Executive Director of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.
