The threat and impact of the Coronavirus are falling disproportionately on those with low-incomes especially those who are food or health-care insecure.   In this Briefing, Saima Akhtar of the Empire Justice Center in Albany and Amy E. Lowenstein of the Pennsylvania Health Law Project in Philadelphia will discuss key federal programs to aid these populations as well as updates in light of the Coronavirus.  Topics will include the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), including recent revisions in response to COVID-19, and an overview of Medicaid and CHIP coverage and benefits related to COVID-19.
