There are many good websites out there, and a lot address health care issues. Here are a few of the sites we found most useful, informative, and inspirational.

The National Health Law Program: A "national public interest law firm that seeks to improve health care for America's working and unemployed poor, minorities, the elderly and people with disabilities."

Health Care That Works: A project of The Opportunity Agenda and other partner agencies, this interactive google map mash-up demonstrates the disproportionate impact that recent hospital closures have on communities of color in New York City.

Medicare Rights Center: The "largest independent source of health care information and assistance in the United States for people with Medicare, MRC helps older adults and people with disabilities get good, affordable health care."

Universal Health Care Action Network: A "nationwide network that promotes comprehensive health care for all through education, strategy development and advocacy."

Health Care for All - California: An organization that "regards health care as a human right and is dedicated to ensuring that all Californians have comprehensive, reliable, and affordable health insurance."

Healthcare-Now: The "growing movement made up of many organizations and individuals committed to a national quality healthcare system with single-payer financing - an enhanced and improved non-profit Medicare for All."

The Access Project: An organization that "works to strengthen community action, promote social change, and improve health, especially for those who are most vulnerable".

DiversityRx : Promotes "language and cultural competence to improve the quality of health care for minority, immigrant, and ethnically diverse communities."
