WHY DIVERSITY IS IMPORTANT IN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS

By Keaton McNamara

Diversity helps us understand others by their culture, race, or religion. If you go to a diverse school, it may help you get a good job later in life. For example, you could learn other languages and become a translator for the United Nations. My school, ISL, teaches kids French and Spanish, giving them opportunities for international jobs. Diversity can help you understand the arts. It makes you who you are. It opens up the doors of a global community. In conclusion, diversity expands the possibilities in life.
