The purpose of the conference is to assist, educate and inspire legal practitioners and other members of the legal profession as well as the broader community who are working together to bring about important social change in their community. This two-day event will build on the successes of the Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Toronto conferences, held in 2012, 2010, 2008, and 2006 respectively.

This year’s conference will bring together legal practitioners, the judiciary, the voluntary sector and academia from Canada, the United States and abroad to share ideas and best practices in pro bono legal services, forge new pro bono partnerships, and explore challenging issues that still lie ahead in the pro bono sphere.

Notable events include an opening reception for all attendees sponsored by Canadian Bar Association Saskatchewan, a keynote address by The Honourable Justice Cromwell of the Supreme Court of Canada at lunch on Thursday, September 25 sponsored by Dentons Canada LLP, and an Awards Banquet that evening featuring keynote speaker James Lockyer.
