Kovar Joins Legal Aid's Enid Office

Claudia Kovar has joined Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc., as the staff attorney in Legal Aid's Enid satellite office.

Kovar received her juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Trinity University, San Antonio, and a master's degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Oklahoma. Kovar has worked as a journalist in Tulsa and San Antonio. She also taught as an adjunct professor briefly at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication before attending law school.

Legal Aid's Enid satellite office, 2615 E. Randolph, serves low-income and elderly people from Garfield County with civil legal problems threatening their day-to-day survival such as loss of housing or income, safety issues including domestic violence and the need for health care.
