Student Loan Debt Relief Scams and Other Updates from the FTC

Join us to hear about some of the scams and consumer issues that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has been seeing with student loan debt relief. FTC staff will discuss several recent cases brought against student loan debt relief operations that the FTC alleged violated the law with their deceptive practices.
Presenters will share free education resources available for people dealing with student loan debt, as well as other materials for students. This session will be a great introduction for those new to student loan debt relief programs and a good update for those who may be more knowledgeable, but are interested in the FTC’s work in this area.
