Description

Come learn about (1) the basics of Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) – who must enroll and who is exempt; (2) mainstream managed care – who must obtain home care through these plans and what are their options; (3) fast-track application procedure for those with  “Immediate Need”  for personal care or the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP); and (4) advocacy strategies for MLTC – transition rights, advocacy tips on reductions or increases, and amended regulations on 24-hour care.
