The majority of domestic violence survivors experience economic abuse, which may result in worsened credit and consumer debt collection cases for coerced debt.

Join the Feerick Center for Social Justice and Legal Services NYC's Justice Learning Center for a CLE training on the overlap in consumer debt defense and domestic violence advocacy.

Claire Mooney (Legal Aid Society) and Divya Subrahmanyam (CAMBA Legal Services) will provide an overview of the intersection between domestic violence law practice and consumer debt defense and provide tools for survivors and their advocates to issue-spot and address common issues.
