N-LAAN is a network of advocates working toward equal access by linguistic minorities. If you join this site, you will have access to information on language rights, including trainings, legal analysis of issues, models of solutions that have worked in other states, information on how language rights have been interpreted and enforced in many areas of law affecting low income and immigrant communities, etc.

You will also receive periodic updates of new postings into this group. If you have created any materials, including sample stipulation agreements, or court recently issue court orders, please post them and they will be reviewed and approved. Membership to this website is approved and limited to advocates working on behalf of limited English proficient persons. Employees of government agencies and employees or contractors of potential opposing parties are not admitted into the site or email lists. However, because many of the resources added to this site are public in nature, they are welcomed to use the open part of the website, contribute materials if they think those are helpful, etc.
