The shortest distance between two people is a story. Advocacy stories have the potential to inspire and connect others to the essential work of providing legal assistance to those living on the social margins. Click on the links below to hear the JUST Stories of public interest advocates from around the country, and add your story to the growing library of short, powerful videos in which members of the public interest legal community describe their own experiences as advocates.

Add your story to our homepage video 'quilt'.; tell us how you changed your client's story, and made it a JUST story. Send us a short (less than two minutes) video of yourself or someone in your organization answering four brief questions:
1. What is your name and affiliation?
2. What did you do for your client?
3. How did it change your client's life?
4. How did it change yours?

These questions can be used as a script outline: simply print out the questions and ask people to answer all four while being videotaped.

Film yourself, members of your staff, volunteers, clients, anyone who has a JUST Story to tell. Send them to us and post them on your own website; these videos can also serve as powerful marketing tools for you.

Tip: If using a small pocket recorder, be sure to film in a quiet space with adequate lighting.
