As part of the American Bar Association's National Celebration of Pro Bono, we are asking lawyers to donate a billable hour to support our 2019 summer stipends for those working with nonprofit and government agencies. Every year, a subset of Denver Law students devotes their summers to unpaid work on behalf of causes, communities and individuals that are underserved and in need of legal support. While they gain great satisfaction from their experiences, these students often encounter a financial burden while working without pay. We ask you to partner with us to support them, affirm their commitment to doing good and elevate the need to provide legal services in the public sector.
