Come Fly with Us: Celebrating 60 Years of Justice

Topics:
  • Awards and Recognition
  • Fundraiser

The year was 1958. Frank Sinatra’s album Come Fly With Me was racing up the charts, NASA was created in response to the Space Race, and Orange County’s legal community banded together to form the Legal Aid Society of Orange County.

On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, Legal Aid Society of Orange County and Community Legal Services of Southeast Los Angeles County (LASOC-CLS) will celebrate this amazing legacy of justice at Come Fly With Us – Celebrating 60 Years of Justice for All.  The evening will also raise important charitable funds to provide civil legal services to seniors and low-income individuals throughout Orange County and Southeast Los Angeles County.

Planned from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lyon Air Museum adjacent to John Wayne Airport, Come Fly With Us will include a hosted reception, silent and live auctions, entertainment, sit-down dinner and more.  Approximately 400 guests are expected to attend, including esteemed members of Orange County’s legal community, recognizing our partners in legal services for the community.

This year, we’re proud to honor:

Jones Day for providing significant pro-bono work on behalf of the clients we serve
The Orange County Bar Association for founding and supporting LASOC-CLS
LASOC-CLS Staff for carrying out our mission on a daily basis
