Presentation by the Reach Out: Legal Assistance for Nonprofits program, including
90-minute Educational Seminar and Brief Advice Clinic immediately to follow. Free and open to local nonprofit leaders. CLE credit for volunteer attorneys.
- CLE Credit Comments: Attorneys interested in advising nonprofits are invited to join us for an engaging panel discussion on a variety of risk management issues facing nonprofits today. Topics will include how to identify and assess risk, how insurance comes into play, and best practices for managing risk. The speakers will draw on their experiences working with and for nonprofits and insurance providers and claimants to provide thoughts on how a nonprofit can navigate risks and focus on achieving its charitable objectives. Reach Out Educational Seminars are designed to provide important legal information related to nonprofit management. Attorneys will receive 1.5 hr of CLE credit for attendance at the educational seminar. CLE credit is free with participation in the brief advice clinic to follow.
