Join us as North Carolina's legal service providers explore the path to justice for our state.

The Equal Justice Alliance will host the 2016 Legal Services Conference on October 26-27, 2016 at the Greensboro Marriott! The conference will feature a keynote address by Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center, reception at the International Civil Rights Museum, and View from the Bench plenary with Chief Justice Mark Martin, Chief Judge Linda McGee and Judge Lou Olivera.

This conference will offer 5 programming options per session block, covering topics of general interest to civil legal aid advocates and volunteers as well as 4 specialty tracks: Trial Skills, Pro Bono, Children, and Benefits. The full agenda offers credit for a total of 10 CLE hours, which includes options for 1 substance abuse hour and 4 ethics hours. Special thanks to the North Carolina Fellows of the American College of Trial Lawyers for their work preparing the Trial Skills Track.
