Conflicted by conflicts? This CLE will make clear the rules regarding conflicts of interest, an important issues for pro bono volunteers assisting low-income individuals with civil legal problems. Beginning with a brief overview of the Rules of Professional Conduct relating to conflicts, participants will then discuss common conflict challenges in solo and small firm practice.
Speaker: Marisa Wiesman, Director of Volunteer Services at Prairie State Legal Services.
This CLE is complimentary. Lunch will be provided at 11:45 a.m. by the Livingston County Bar Association at an additional cost payable at that time as part of their regular meeting. The CLE will immediately follow beginning at noon.
