This was our 7th year participating in Go Casual for Justice. Participants contributed $5 to wear jeans and another $5 to wear sneakers today, October 30. Proceeds go to the DC Bar Foundation to fund loan repayment assistance for legal services lawyers, training programs, and grants to legal services agencies.

As in other years, there was a competition among floors and the winning floor is allowed to wear jeans the first Friday of every month FOR THE NEXT YEAR under the condition that we raise more overall than we did last year, that is, more than $9500. DC Office Managing Partner provided additional incentive by agreeing to wear the "Captains for Justice" t-shirt for a group photo if we met our goal. We ultimately exceeded that goal, raising (at last count), $10,703.
