Lunch program honoring the judiciary at noon on Thursday, October 29, to celebrate National Pro Bono Week. The program will be inspiring and informative, with four agencies speaking briefly about the state of legal aid in Houston. The agencies together serve an impressive cross-section of Houston, including victims of domestic violence, the homeless, immigrant children, veterans, and, of course, our everyday low-income neighbors who simply cannot afford legal services. The program is for all Harris County district and appellate judges and associate judges.
