Student Volunteer Training for Citizenship Day

This session is required for and only open to students who pre-registered for the Citizenship Day being held on Saturday, October 24. This event is part of the ABA’s National Celebration of Pro Bono Week, and will be hosted by members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, Casa de Maryland, Equal Justice Works, Laborers' International Union of North America, NALEO Educational Fund, and The New Americans Campaign. A webinar created by AILA will be presented, and members of AILA will answer questions to prepare students for their involvement in the pro bono opportunity.

Open to students who preregistered for the pro bono project only.

As part of the ABA’s National Celebration of Pro Bono Week, members of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center, Casa de Maryland, Equal Justice Works, Laborers' International Union of North America, NALEO Educational Fund, and The New Americans Campaign are hosting this pro bono opportunity for law students to work with experienced attorneys to assist members of the local community as they prepare to apply for citizenship.
