The Understanding Food and Nutrition Services ("Food Stamps") Webinar will provide an overview of the North Carolina food stamps program. It is an excellent training, especially for attorneys who are new to this field, as the presentation will address the eligibility requirements, monthly allotment calculations, overpayments, and appeals process. This training will also be informative to most attorneys regardless of their familiarity with the Food and Nutrition Services because we will be discussing the program from the beginning and any new developments to the application/enrollment process. The training should be especially helpful to volunteer attorneys participating in the Lawyer on the Line program.
