The Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program was created by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court to recognize and honor Maine lawyers who have provided 50 or more hours of free legal services to Maine people who cannot afford civil legal cervices. The Supreme Judicial Court will recognize lawyers who engaged in a minimum of 50 pro bono hours at ceremonies around the state beginning on October 24th.
