This half-day program is designed for civil attorneys, legal advocates, prosecutors, law enforcement and service providers working with elderly victims of sexual violence.

Join Deputy District Attorney Paul Greenwood to learn more about this rapidly growing population and emerging area of law. Mr. Greenwood will draw on his 18 years of experience prosecuting felony abuse cases with the San Diego DA's Office to tackle some of the barriers that obstruct the successful investigation and prosecution of elder abuse. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of elder abuse, understand the special challenges associated with sexual assault of the elderly and learn effective techniques for interviewing elderly victims in both civil and criminal cases.
