Join Miami-Dade Public Defender Carlos Martinez and Miami Law's HOPE Public Interest Resource Center to celebrate 50 years of the right to counsel with a screening of Gideon's Trumpet (1980) to kick off the 2012 National Pro Bono Celebration. Following the screening, viewers have the opportunity to participate in an ongoing project to determine whether criminal or traffic court defendants in Miami-Dade understand their rights.
