Thomas M. Cooley Law School's Service to Soldiers: Legal Assistance Referral Program presents:
This training event, held at Ft. Custer in Augusta, Michigan (near Battle Creek), will educate attorneys and students on the nuances of representing military clients. The State Judge Advocate for the Michigan National Guard, Lt. Colonel John Wojcik, will give instuction on the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, and estate planning for deploying troops. Participating attorneys and students will not only be able to expand their practices, but will also learn about opportunities to do pro bono work for deploying and returning troops through Thomas M. Cooley Law School's Service to Soldiers: Legal Assistance Referral Program.
