Pro Bono Week at the University of Illinois

The Public Interest Law Foundation and the College of Law is hosting a week of speakers addressing the intersection between managing career and commitment to the community.
On Monday October 24 PILF presents: "Pro Bono from the Start" where recent grads will discuss pro bono's influence on their law school careers and beyond.
Tuesday October 25 is a speaker panel addressing "The Intersection of Public Interest and Pro Bono" where three veteran public interest attorneys will discuss the role pro bono plays in public interest law.
On Thursday October 27, keynote speakers, Marc Kadish of Mayer Brown and Robert Byman of Jenner & Block will discuss pro bono work in a law firm setting in "Making a Big Difference at a Big Law Firm."
Finally, on October 28, experienced attorneys will give advice to law students on how to "Make it Work" and pursue a career in public interest law.
