This introductory CLE is designed to expand interest among attorneys from the Rhode Island Women's Bar Association in providing pro bono legal assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence. It provides a forum to examine the issues involved in cases where one of the parties is a victim of domestic violence with a focus on maximizing the safety of all participants and the role of attorneys in assisting victims.
