TUBMAN Pro Bono Safety Project

One in every 3 or 4 women in the U.S. has been physically assaulted by her intimate partner. Doctors can treat the injuries. Police can make an arrest. When the bruises are healing, and the abuser has posted bail, women need legal protection for themselves and their children. You can help. The Pro Bono Safety Project provides high quality pro bono representation to low-income domestic violence victims seeking civil Orders for Protection who have a compelling need for legal assistance. Tubman staff will provide volunteer attorneys with training, case information and legal support. We invite you to be part of this unique effort. Please join us for one of our next attorney trainings.
