Marquette University Law School will host a luncheon for law students, pro bono attorneys and public interest lawyers on October 29, 2009 from 12-1 p.m. in Eisenberg Memorial Hall. The members of the Coalition for Access to Legal Resources (CALR) will be invited to this luncheon in lieu of their quarterly meeting in order to introduce law students to the interesting and rewarding practice of public interest and pro bono law in Southeastern Wisconsin. Those attending the event will have an opportunity to learn more about the organizations providing legal services, the legal needs of Milwaukee's low income population and pro bono opportunities.

CALR is a group of legal service providers in the Milwaukee area committed to improving access to legal resources for low-income people.
