Interview Immigrants at the "ONE More Chance" Docket at the Baltimore Immigration Court

  • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Eastern Time (US & Canada)
  • By: Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland
  • Baltimore Immigration Court
  • Source: Unaccompanied Children (Decommissioned) > Unaccompanied Children Resource Center
Topics:
  • Immigration Court Procedure

Co-hosted by all Unaccompanied Children Pro Bono Project Partner organizations. 15 volunteer attorneys and 15 interpreters and 4 facilitators are needed. We have reason to believe that respondents appearing before the judge during this docket are only going to be given "ONE More Chance" to find an attorney before they have to represent themselves in Immigration Court. We want to make sure that all children appearing at this docket have an opportunity to speak to an attorney, and learn about their legal options. Malpractice insurance, interpreters, and training are provided.
