This roundtable will delve into fundamental topics related to interpretation, such as: the role of the interpreter on the team; best practices for interpreters; how to recognize and address vicarious trauma; and the impact of trauma and culture as it relates to the interpreter. The discussion will be facilitated by two experienced Lawyers' Committee volunteer interpreters who will share their tips for how to best carry out this essential responsibility for the benefit of the client and the team as a whole.
