New York County Lawyers Association

In keeping with the New York County Lawyers Association's mission to provide "free legal services for the indigent, low-income and other persons in need," we invite attorneys to participate in our pro bono projects. We offer a wide variety of meaningful opportunities, and training is provided for each project. Volunteer attorneys must be members of the New York County Lawyers Association and meet additional requirements specific for each project. For certain trainings, CLE credit can be awarded for completing specified pro bono assignments after the training. We encourage you to consider giving your professional expertise and time to one or more of our worthy projects:

  • Legal Counseling Project provides phone consultations in the areas of family, employment and landlord/tenant law. No representation of any kind is undertaken. Consultations can be scheduled throughout the week based on volunteer availability.
