Legal Assistance of Western New York, Inc.® (LawNY®) has opportunities for pro bono volunteers to assist low-income clients both remotely and in-person in each of our seven offices, which cover a fourteen-county service area. Opportunities include document/pleading drafting and/or review, legal research projects, case support services and mentoring, clinic assistance, limited scope representation, and full representation.
LawNY® also operates an Uncontested Divorce Program that offers remote and in-person opportunities for law students and law school graduates to draft uncontested divorce pleadings and gather client information. This program also allows private attorneys to provide remote document drafting, review of pleadings, and/or client meetings..
