Tip of the Week: Back to School Season

Did volunteers or interns help out with your probono.net advocate site this summer? With back to school season upon us, now is a good time to review your site's administrator list for users who are no longer actively managing content on the site but still have admin privileges.

You can determine who has admin privileges for your site by going to the admin inbox for the relevant Geo or Practice area and toggling to the Approved -> Members list. When viewing your list of approved members, you'll notice an "Administrators" hyperlink at the top. This will filter for members with admin privileges, including Geo and Practice area admins as well as Tool Administrators and Tool Contributors.

You can edit a user's admin privileges by clicking on their name, scrolling to the Permissions section of their join form, and changing their permissions assignments. Details about what the various permissions levels enable can be found in the Joining and Approving Members section of the probono.net Admin Manual available in your admin navigation bar.

If you have questions about managing admin permissions, please email support@probono.net.
