Dear friends:

LawHelp.org has been named as a finalist for a Webby Award in the category of Best Law Website of 2007!

The 11th Annual Webby Awards, presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, received a record 8,000 entries from over 60 countries and all 50 states. LawHelp.org was one of five finalists named in the Best Law Website category; the winner will be announced on May 1, 2007. The nominees are:

Findlaw (www.findlaw.org)

LawHelp (www.lawhelp.org)

Nolo (www.nolo.com)

Hollywood Reporter ESQ (www.hollywoodreporteresq.com)

Thomas (www.thomas.loc.gov)

We'll have to bite our nails to see how we fare with the judges, but you don't have to wait until May 1 to voice your support for the public interest community's horse in this race. Help promote the statewide legal aid website movement with a vote for LawHelp.org in the People's Voice Award.

Voting is open to the public from April 10th to April 27th at http://peoplesvoice.webbyawards.com.

Thanks and congratulations to the entire LawHelp Network!
