Supported by Judge Marilyn Hall Patel of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and Chief Justice Ronald George of the California Supreme Court, the Volunteer Legal Services Program of the Bar Association of San Francisco and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, the following firms have signed the San Francisco Bay Area Law Firm Pledge in Support of Pro Bono Services, committing to donate a minimum of 3% to 5% of their total billable hours to pro bono services. Each firm has also promised to uphold the values of the Pledge throughout their firm by assuring their associates and partners that participate in pro bono that work will be valued equally with work for paying clients and will be considered during performance evaluation and compensation review.
