The AIDS Legal Referral Panel will provide this free MCLE training to educate attorneys on the legal issues faced by people living with HIV/AIDS.

This training will provide an overview of the Ellis Act as a "just cause" for eviction under the San Francisco Rent Ordinance. It will cover the legal protections for seniors and tenants with disabilities, highlighting strategies for defending long-term tenants faced with Ellis Act evictions.
