The AIDS Legal Referral Panel will provide this free MCLE training to educate attorneys on the legal issues faced by people living with HIV/AIDS.

This program will review the pre-litigation claims process for health and disability claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, including strategies for preparing cases for litigation, potential pitfalls for inexperienced practitioners, and a summary of the new regulations governing health care claims under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
