Bucks County Protection From Abuse Representation Project

Program FlyerAttorneys are needed to every week to provide pro bono representation for plaintiffs at Protection from Abuse (PFA) hearings, held weekly in Doylestown.

This is a LIMITED SCOPE pro bono opportunity, with no expectation of continued representation beyond the day of volunteer service. New volunteers can observe PFA Day and learn from staff and current volunteers before committing to provide representation. You do NOT need to be a family law attorney to participate. Hearings are at Bucks County Justice Center, Doylestown.

The Bucks County Courts' unique program provides representation to both plaintiffs and defendants if they do not already have representation.

1.0 CLE credit for every 5 hours of volunteer service, up to 3 credits per year.

  • If you have never volunteered before, contact LASP for training and mentorship!
  • You can receive CLE credit for pro bono service! LASP is an accredited CLE provider.
