Legal Access Alameda (formerly VLSC) is the pro bono arm of the Alameda County Bar Association providing free direct legal assistance to low-income Alameda County self-represented litigants through volunteer attorneys, paralegals, and law school graduates.

Legal Access volunteers provide legal assistance and education at over 30 pro per legal clinics a month in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, domestic violence restraining orders, guardianship and low-income landlord evictions. Legal Access also holds a free drop-in legal advice and referral clinic the first Saturday of every month in a wide spectrum of areas of law, including family, immigration, housing, employment, consumer, bankruptcy, personal injury, probate, real estate and more.
