Lavender Rights Project - QLSP

The Lavender Rights Project is dedicated to service the specific needs of the trans, gender non-conforming, queer, and LGB identified communities. 



Lavender Rights Project (LRP) advances a more just and equitable society by providing low-cost civil legal services and community programming centered in values of social justice for trans and queer low-income people and other marginalized communities. 



LRP meets a persistent and growing need for legal support faced by queer, trans, and gender diverse communities by providing a wraparound approach that addresses both legal and systemic barriers through:

  • Assisted pro se support
  • Community organizing and coalition building 
  • Culturally competent resources and referrals
  • Direct representation 
  • Legal skills and Know Your Rights education training
