Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center

The award-winning Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center provides a number of opportunities for pro bono service. The program, supported by the Fairfax Law Foundation and the Fairfax Bar Association, provides civil legal services to poverty and indigent clients, as well as local nonprofits. The Pro Bono Program offers diverse opportunities for volunteer service by lawyers and paralegals, and assists with support such as Continuing Legal Education courses, written materials, mentors, and malpractice insurance. Programs include: Neighborhood Outreach Program; Nonprofit Legal Support Program, Community Economic Development Project, Wills on Wheels, Family Legal Assistance Project, Uncontested Divorce representation, and work in bankruptcy, consumer, employment and housing law.
