Fort Bend Lawyers Care

FBLC's Mission to provide low-income Fort Bend County residents with equal access to justice through volunteer lawyers.

Volunteer lawyers needed for pro bono representation, Walk-in Legal Aid clinics and Family Law Workshops.

Fort Bend Lawyers Care (FBLC) was founded in 2006 by members of the Fort Bend County Bar Association to respond to the growing legal needs of Fort Bend County's low-income residents. FBLC is a non-profit organization that provides civil legal aid to low-income, Fort Bend County residents by coordinating volunteer attorneys to represent qualified clients in a court of law, provide them with advice and counsel, pro se assistance and legal education.

FBLC is dedicated only to low-income Fort Bend County residents and is the sole legal aid organization located within Fort Bend County. FBLC's staff consists of 2 full-time employees and 2 part-time employees. FBLC's Executive Director is also the staff attorney.
