Legal Aid of North Carolina's Senior Law Project specifically serves clients that are 60 years of age and older.  Special priority is given to seniors with the greatest economic or social need.  Clients who are age 60 or older are exempt from income limitations and are eligible for services.

The Senior Law Project assists clients with: simple wills, living wills, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, public benefits including Medicaid, food stamps, and SSI/SSD, abuse/neglect, unemployment compensation, housing issues including eviction defense, landlord/tenant, subsidized housing rights, and utilities, consumer issues including mortgage foreclosure, and wrongful repossession.
