Jamie KeeOur spotlight this month shines on attorney Jamie Kee who spearheaded a fundraiser event with his daughter and son-in-law on the Kee Ranch just outside of Woodward, OK in September.

What was the exciting event?  The first annual Running Wild Adventure Race organized by a group of attorneys and community leaders who hosted runners of all ages for a worthwhile cause; to raise awareness and funds for Woodward County Legal Aid.

Monies raised are earmarked to hire another family law attorney for the Woodward LASO office which serves 15 northwest Oklahoma counties.

“The people of Woodward are known for helping their own,” Jamie told the Journal Record in a June article. “I am confident they want to make sure that people who need Legal Aid can obtain that help.”

Jamie recently retired after practicing law for 38 years but his path as an attorney began in LASO’s Oklahoma City office as an intern.

The fundraiser was a great family event.  The 3.75-mile race included 15 man-made and natural obstacles flowing through beautiful hills, canyons, swamps and of course MUD!!

LASO appreciates the terrific sponsors and awesome runners who showed overwhelming support to ensure that Woodward's neediest citizens have access to justice if they need it.

Congratulations on the first successful Running Wild Race!

Thank you Jamie Kee and team for helping LASO make a difference!!
