Each year on national "Law Day," the OETA and the Oklahoma Bar Association sponsor "Ask A Lawyer," a legal advice call-in program and an educational television segment emphasizing some area of the law.

This year on Thursday, April 28th, the all-day, statewide, free legal advice hotline was open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  
OETA televised a special program to help Oklahomans learn more about the legal system, the role judges and lawyers play in the legal system, information about basic legal rights and responsibilities and important legal resources.

This year's program covered 3 areas of the law:
Domestic Violence and divorce
Disability Law
Military Servicemembers (and a new OBA program to help soldiers)
