The Veterans' Administration Homeless Division will sponsor a Stand Down for homeless veterans on May 11th to be held at the First Baptist Church, downtown.

Tulsa Stand Down for Homeless Veterans
424 S Detroit (on the campus of First Baptist Church Tulsa)
May 11, 2013, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Veterans only may attend from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Homeless Veterans will also have the opportunity to receive food, clothing, health screenings, haircuts, laundry/showers, and learn about services provided by the following: Veterans Treatment Court, First Baptist Church, John 3:16, VA Readjustment Counseling, Veterans Benefits Administration, Mental Health Association in Tulsa, Workforce Oklahoma, various local employers, 12 & 12, Inc., Clary Sage, Coffee Bunker, Legal Aid Services, Department of Human Services, Disabled American Veterans, Community Voice Mail, Child Support Services, Community Service Council (SSVF/BRRX) of Greater Tulsa and more.

Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and the Tulsa County Bar Association's Veterans and Military Section will be there to answer questions.
